DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\nUnveiling of the Restored Jellinge Stone Replica in Utrecht\nThe DDCC is thrilled to announce that DDCC together with the University of Utrecht and the Embassy of Denmark in the Netherlands will hold an event to unveil the restored replica of the Danish Jellinge Stone at the Domplein in Utrecht on 29 May 2024.\nThe Jellinge stones in Denmark were raised by viking kings Gorm Den Gamle and Harald Blåtand. The larger of the two stones was raised by Harald Blåtand and is considered  Denmark’s baptismal certificate (Danmarks dåbsattest) and is associated with the creation of Denmark as a nation state.
